Clean AMD & NVIDIA Shader Cache

Over time, your graphics card stores temporary files in a shader cache to speed up game load times and performance. Occasionally, this cache can become corrupted, leading to stuttering, graphical glitches, or performance issues. These scripts provide a safe and easy way to clear the cache for your specific GPU vendor.

Downloads

NVIDIA Cache Cleaner

AMD Cache Cleaner

A script that safely removes the AMD shader cache folder.

How to Use

  1. Choose and Download:Select the correct cleaner for your graphics card (NVIDIA or AMD) and download the script.
  2. Close Applications:For the best results, close all running applications, especially games and graphics-intensive programs.
  3. Run as Administrator:Right-click the downloaded .bat file and select "Run as administrator". This is required to access and delete system-level folders.
  4. Complete:The script will run instantly and close automatically. The cache is now cleared.

Note: It is highly recommended to restart your PC after cleaning the GPU cache. The next time you launch a game, it may have a one-time stutter or longer initial load as it rebuilds the necessary cache files.
